So Real

So many times we have met
More than I can even count
Even though it was on the internet
Those times seem so real

I thought nothing of it at all
Two people passing the time
Yet slowly tearing down a wall
Those times seem so real

At times we talked for hours
Yet it seemed like only seconds
Who knew words had so much power
Those times seem so real

We really started to know each other
Listening to what the other had to say
And wanting to be together
Those times seem so real

Then one day we came to realize
Our feelings for each other changed
We did not know the how or whys

That day my dreams came true
There were so things though to consider
Before we acted upon these feelings anew

Still we were both so curious
Knowing in our hearts we had to meet
I will admit to being a slight bit nervous

Our plans were then hastily made
For the moment of truth to be revealed
"Let it all go right" I prayed
